Patan Durbar Square

Patan Durbar Square is situated in the heart of Patan city. It is surrounded by different ancient palaces, temples and shrines, which are noted for their exquisite carving. This square consists of three main courtyards –the Mulchowk, the sundari chowk and the keshav Narayan chowk. The Sundari chowk holds in its center a masterpiece of stone architecture the royal bath called Tushahity. Inside the durbar square there is the statue of lord Krishna named as Krishna mandir built in the sixteenth century and it completely made up of stone. Many pilgrims as well as visitor come to visit the Durbar Square area yearly.
