Katmandu Durbar Square

Katmandu Durbar Square is also known as Hanumandhoka Durbar Square. It is situated in the heart of Katmandu the capital city of Nepal. This square consists of old temple, spectacular images and other unique construction. The Hanuman dhoka square derives its name from the big statue of Hanuman. Inside this durbar square we can see the temple of Taleju , the temple of Kal Bhairav , the god of destruction , Nautale Durbar , the Big bell , the Big drum , the coronation Nasal chowk and the Jaganath temple are the major attraction places in the square. It is closed to the temple of Kumari which is the residence of the living goddess in Nepal.
